10 Christmas Presents For Under £25 From Small Businesses

10 Christmas Presents For Under £25 From Small Businesses

Why Shop Small this Christmas?

The gals at DAiLY HQ looove shopping small at Christmas time (we promise it’s not because we’re biased). There are so many reasons why shopping independently trumps buying from big corporations.

4 reasons why shopping small is best:

1. It's more ethical

When shopping small, you know the employees working conditions (you’ve probs seen them on a BTS TikTok). There’s sure to be a lot more transparency in other areas too, such as the ingredients, manufacturing processes and materials used. Not to mention that research has shown that small biz owners are more likely to pursue social and environmental initiatives than big corporations.

(Here at DAiLY we plant a tree with every order, use 100% recyclable, biodegradable or reusable packaging and offset our employee carbon footprint every month).

2. The products are more unique and thoughtful

Small biz owners put their heart and soul (trust us, we know) into producing unique, thoughtful pieces that they hope their customers will loooove. Unlike when buying from companies that mass-produce thousands of identical products, purchasing from a small business means you will be getting a limited edition (often one-of-a-kind) piece that you won’t find in houses up and down the UK.

3. We genuinely do an excited dance every time we get an order

We’re a bit embarrassed to admit it, but we have all let out audible squeals, impromptu dance moves (questionable ones), and text our WhatsApp group frantically when we’ve had that dreamy order notification from Shopify come through.

4. The customer service is second to none

Small businesses really care about their customers' experience. Not only are positive reviews important to build a good reputation and grow the business, but happy customers also make happy employees. There’s nothing that makes us more buzzinggg than seeing our customers post pictures with their candles on insta or leave a positive review on our site. It means we are achieving our mission to create products that leave people feeling empowered and also really impressed with their interior design vision ;).

10 Products for under £25 from Small Businesses

There are so many small businesses that it can sometimes feel overwhelming to narrow them down. But don’t worry, we’ve put together a list of 10 products under £25 from small, independent businesses that we know you’ll love. They’re perfect for secret Santa, Christmas gifts (cos looking at my bank account I shouldn’t be buying presents more than £25 this year full stop lol) or treating urself (doooooo it).

 1. The Partner in Wine Tumbler - £20

Perl Cosmetics founder, Isobel, is a scientist who lost her job during lockdown. The reviews speak for themselves (spoiler: 5 stars across the board).
